Welcome to thegrs.com! The following outlines the return policy for all purchases made from Graphic Resource Systems LLC (“GRS”) through thegrs.com or directly from the company.


General Information:

All sales by Graphic Resource Systems LLC are considered business-to-business (B2B) transactions. This policy applies to commercial customers only. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please Contact Us to obtain an RMA number before shipping any products back. Returns without an RMA number may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.


General Policy:

All sales are considered final unless explicitly stated otherwise in this policy. Any item or service not specifically covered in the categories below — including but not limited to installation, training, labor, service charges, and shipping or handling fees — is non-refundable once performed, shipped, or delivered.

Returns or warranty claims are valid only for the original purchaser listed on the invoice and are not transferable.


RMA Procedure:

To return an item, contact GRS to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returned items must be shipped prepaid and insured using a trackable carrier. GRS is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments. Returns received without an RMA number may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.
Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.

Limitations of Liability:

Graphic Resource Systems LLC’s liability for any claim relating to returned or defective products is limited to the replacement of the product or refund of the purchase price. GRS is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, including loss of profits or downtime, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.


Governing Law:

This Return Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.


Inks, Media, and Consumables:

Returns of in-stock or standard consumable items (such as inks or media) are accepted within 30 days of the invoice date, provided the items are in their original condition and sealed packaging. Refunds or store credits (at GRS’s discretion) will exclude any original shipping charges. A RMA number is required for any returned product. Please Contact Us to receive a RMA number before returning the product. Returns received without an RMA number may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.

If an item is damaged during shipping, you must notify GRS within 24 hours of receipt by emailing sales@thegrs.com with photos of the damage and, if possible, the sales order number. Delays in reporting may result in loss of eligibility for replacement or credit. GRS will respond with instructions for handling the damaged product and provide updates on replacement status.


Equipment and Hardware:

Equipment and hardware items, including but not limited to printers, cutters, laminators, and related accessories, are not returnable. Any issues will be resolved through the manufacturer’s warranty.

If Equipment and hardware items are damaged in transit, notify GRS within 24 hours by emailing sales@thegrs.com with pictures and your order details. Failure to report within this timeframe may result in loss of eligibility for replacement or credit. GRS will reply with any additional information needed and will inform you of the next steps to resolve the issue.


Software, Documentation, Clip Art, and Other Digital Items:

All digital products, including but not limited to software, documentation, clip art, templates, digital artwork, or any electronically delivered files, are non-returnable and non-refundable once the order has been processed, fulfilled, or the download link or license key has been issued. All sales of digital items are final, except where otherwise required by applicable law or a written agreement approved by Graphic Resource Systems LLC.

Parts and Special-Order Items:

Returns for parts, special-order, or custom-configured items must be unopened and in their original packaging, received within 30 days of the invoice date. Custom or made-to-order items are non-returnable once production or procurement has begun. Most such items are subject to manufacturer restocking fees, typically between 15% and 25% of the purchase price. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with the original and return shipments. Approval for return of special-order items is subject to the manufacturer’s return policy and is not guaranteed.

Acceptance of Policy:

By purchasing from Graphic Resource Systems LLC or thegrs.com, the buyer agrees to this Return Policy and acknowledges that it forms part of the terms and conditions of sale.
